today was fun because i was home alone. i felt like I was living in a montage.... i drank tea and read the paper, then i played piano, then i just wandered the hallways singing at the top of my lungs, then i shot at empty tennis ball cans with a BB gun, then I skateboarded in the concrete yard, then i juggled my soccer ball for a while.
But when I was ready to go inside from the back yard i realized the door had locked behind me. So I was locked out of my own house and I had to climb onto the roof and into my moms bedroom window. |

One thing I don't like about college is that I don't read on the toilet anymore because I am too embarassed to be seen coming out of the stall holding a book. Maybe soon I will muster the confidence to do it anyway. |

I am just writing right now because I want you guys to have something to read. Um.... I lost my cell phone which is really really annoying. I think I am going to give in and buy a new one maybe today or tommorrow (for like $150). Jeez. Um... I guess I am a little confused about what I care about. I know there are people that I really care about, and I guess right now nothing else seems as important as that.
I love my friends.

I was just writing a list of stuff to bring to college, and I wrote the word bathrobe, but I wrote the second "b" backwards and I didn't notice until like five minutes later.
I also had a dream last night about going to college. My room was really big, but it was also the lounge and it was shared by about six people. And there was a guy in my room and his bed had dark green silk bedding with gold lining and he was wearing a gold crown and lying in bed and this girl in a red satin bikini was sort of dancing over him. And there was confusion about whether she went to our school or was a hired stripper...... and there were about five really ratty, disgusting carpets strewn about on the floor and my roommates and I were trying to make them look nicer when one of my roommates saw this instant soup that I had, and she said "Are those bagel bites?" with an astonished tone. And then I replied, "No, it's tofu" and she was like "Good! Because Bagel Bites will kill you." And I was walking around in boxers and a t-shirt, I think, but I was wearing a trench coat over them. And I don't remember the other interactions that I had, but I was kind of walking around being an idiot, as I recall.
Well, at least I am pretty confident that my first day of college won't be as bad as my dream.

If I had had a job this summer, I think it would have been cool to work the night shift at ihop. I'm back in town, so you can start inviting me to all those parties and stuff you people are having. I have bangs now. I went to Great America today, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. I also learned a lot of trivia. For example, did you know that a rhinoceros' horn is made of hair? And the properties in Monopoly are based off of places in Atlantic City. These are important things to know. <3 Cat. |

I just thought about watering cans.... I had completely forgotten about them. watering cans remind me of when I was a little girl, and they make me think of flowers and innocence. when i was little i really liked that painting called "the girl with the watering can". i had a book about it. it is sad that i forgot about watering cans. why have they eluded me for so long? I am going to get some rainboots and a summery dress and a big floppy hat and then go outside and water plants with an old watering can. |

i just went for a run and the endorphins make me feel like my blood is carbonated and i am floating upwards. I was in a really good mood today. I think my brain finally realized that it is on vacation. I also cleaned my room a little and that feels good. I am going to get my ears pierced on June 9th (I had to set a date so that I could mentally prepare myself). Oh and I bought a skirt the other day and I think it hass magical powers like the one in the sisterhood of the traveling pants because it has all of these coffee stains and stuff on it and it makes it seems old and wise and charming. Oh and I am going to work once a week as a personal assistant for this photographer who is a familly friend.... i'm not sure how much she is going to pay me though. whatever though, it will be fun. life is fairly good i would say. <3 |

i have been in a pretty good mood this week. i dont know why. i need to buy a prom dress sometime between now and friday. i guess i will have to go during lunch or something, or maybe during E period, or perhaps after soccer one day. oh my, it is getting late. i should sleep. two things i wish did not exist: pimples, SATs. but it is okay because cereal saves my life. |

Does anyone else get spanish words stuck in their head? Or french words, or any language words? Because, a while ago, as you might know because I mentioned it on my livejournal as well, I got the word sacerdote stuck in my head, and tonight i have the word Oaxaca stuck in my head. I just keep on repeating that word in my head and i can't stop it. |

Hello everybody. I exist. So, I just wanted to remind you of that. Ah yes, and my news lately. A lot of things are changing.... the term is over, soccer started, I can drive (with an adult, yay for me). Soccer is fun.... I like playing outdoors. I have photography next term, which should be a good class. I also have shakespeare, which I have not heard good things about. I have Naoko for functions... she is lovely, but I hope she isn't too stressed out because of her baby. Also, I was supposed to have antony for spanish but it got switched so now I have Esteban.
Anyways... I'll be seeing you around.
